Right now your property is subject to the Unified Land Management Ordinance (ULMO). When/if County Council adopts the new ordinance, it will offer more protection for the Maple Drive neighborhood. It is classified as a Residential Local Detached (RLD) road. The draft ordinance is posted on this site if you would like to see the list of permitted uses on this road classification (Section 22.02). Look down the table under “RLD.” Under the ULMO, anything would be able locate on Maple Drive as long as it can meet the buffers, setbacks, and parking requirements. If you have questions, please let us know. I apologize for the delay in getting you an answer.
