The Area Performance Planning Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in Conference Room 6 of the County Administration Building, 366 N. Church St., Spartanburg.

This will be the first meeting of the Advisory Committee since the committee and the Spartanburg County Planning Commission held a joint meeting on Aug. 24. During that meeting, both bodies reviewed and discussed a preliminary draft of the APP development ordinance.

On Thursday, the APP Advisory Committee is expected to discuss the ordinance, including mapping of limited local roads and noise. The meeting will conclude with a discussion of next steps.
